My Setup 2016 – Synology DiskStation DS916

It has been around four to five years since I purchased the HP X510 Home Media Server, and have made several modifications to my home audio setup, since my initial posts. My Internet Service Provider is through Telstra Australia.  It is a little more expensive, but I have Home Cable (Cable 3.x (HFC) and have a static IP address for the Synology, with 500 Gig available download per month @ 100G speeds. I was also hoping to cut the cable on my Foxtel Box, however as this is bundled in with my home internet connection, it has been a good set top box replacement for my Tivo that died some months back.
