My Internet Service Provider is through Telstra Australia.  It is a little more expensive, but I have Home Cable (Cable 3.x (HFC) and have a static IP address for the Synology, with 500 Gig available download per month @ 100G speeds. I was also hoping to cut the cable on my Foxtel Box, however as this is bundled in with my home internet connection, it has been a good set top box replacement for my Tivo that died some months back.
