Let’s Get Physical – Gadgets That Are Good For Workouts

Summer is here, and if you are finding it hard to get some motivation together to stay fit, or get in shape for summer, we have reviewed a handful of Gadgets to assist that transition. Workout routines can become monotonous, however with the right Gadget, it can turn that workout into a fun, motivating and accountable exercise.

Planning and Research is critical when buying a workout Gadget, because just that it looks cool, or says that it is going to transform your workout, can become an expensive exercise (pardon the pun). When making a purchase, talk to your friends, research on the Internet, and see what others are saying about the particular purchase in mind, and how they rate against other comparable products in the market.
Other important factors to take into consideration include Compatibility and Portability. Before you make a purchase, ensure that your new Gadget is compatible with any existing technology that you may have at home including Computers and Smart Phones. Many of the latest gadgets enable you to take advantage of additional features like tracking your exercise via software that requires a connection to the internet or using GPS, and it is important that you are not paying for features that you will not be able to use, or that will not work as designed without the required compatibility.
It is also important to ensure that the Gadget is not going to detract from your workout if you are constantly having to adjust it, becoming a hindrance, rather than adding to the success of your workout.

RunKeeper:

Apple iPhone 4S – The second most popular cameraphone..

Posted on Nov 24, 2011

Alexandre_C – via FLICKR

Since it’s release on October 4, 2011, according to the photo sharing community FLICKR, the iPhone 4S is now the second most popular Camera Phone.

The iPhone 4S has an 8MP camera (3264 by 2448 pixels), and is capable of recording Full HD Video (1080P) at thirty frames per second. With the built-in Gyroscope, Apple has Included in the latest iPhone 4S image stabilisation for Video recording.

If you are interested in seeing what the most popular camera phone is… “The top four camera phones are all iPhone, and the top camera period is the iPhone 4”. @Gartenberg.

Over the coming months, it will be interesting to see how the iPhone 4S progresses in the market against rival products, includingit’s own Apple iPhone 4.

This just might be the best camera ever on a phone. And with all-new optics, it just might be the only camera you need. Because behind every shot, you’ve got 8-megapixel resolution and a custom lens with a larger f/2.4 aperture. Not to mention an improved backside illumination sensor, excellent auto white balance, advanced colour accuracy, face detection, and reduced motion blur. It all means that no matter how many people, how much light, and how much action you capture, everything looks exactly as it should. The custom lens uses five precision elements to shape incoming light, which makes the entire image sharper. The larger f/2.4 aperture lets in more light, so photos look brighter. And the advanced hybrid infrared filter keeps out harmful IR light for more accurate and uniform colours.  Apple
